v0.0.1 - Getting Started


Oh wow, so this is actually my first major attempt to build a roguelike. 

After running into some stumbling blocks I decided to refactor some old code and assets from my adventure game into what we see here. 

So far we have: 

  • Solid walls
  • Functional (not optimized or flashy) battle system
  • Inventory Screen
  • Health system
  • coins (currently unused but there)
  • enemies and traps
  • Power ups
    • Health
    • Attack

Due to not having a system in place to handle level generation there is a win condition built in. So right now its just one level to demo what I have done.
